Pho for 2

Pho is a comforting Vietnamese noodle soup with a rich, aromatic broth infused with warm spices, tender slices of beef, and fresh herbs. Adding Pikora's Bestia will make a vibrant, slurp-worthy dish that’s both soothing and packed with bold flavors

Ingredients:

For the broth:

  • 2 liters of water
  • Pikora beef broth (approximately four sachets)
  • 20g fish sauce
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 star anise

To build the soup:

  • 100g rice noodles
  • 100g raw beef (tenderloin or flank steak)
  • Thai Basil(a handful)
  • Cilantro
  • Mint
  • Your favorite chile (Fresno or Serrano works!)
  • A couple lime wedges
  • Hoisin sauce (for serving)
  • Sriracha (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the water in a pot and add Pikora beef broth, fish sauce, cinnamon, star anise, and cloves.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions.
  4. Once the noodles are ready, divide them into serving bowls and pour the broth over them.
  5. Slice the beef very thinly and add it to the bowls.
  6. Serve the pho with fresh herbs, lime wedges, chilies, and sauces. Our favorite combo is Sriracha and Hoisin!
